Next edition event: discover how quantum applications can drive economic benefits
This November, the Quantum Application Lab returns with a new edition of its flagship event, building on the momentum of last year’s successful gathering at Amsterdam’s Capital C. Once again, we will explore how quantum technologies are rapidly progressing from theoretical promise to real‑world impact.
Across sectors, from healthcare and aviation to agriculture, climate monitoring, semiconductors, and energy systems, quantum sensing and computing continue to unlock new economic opportunities. In September 2025, we highlighted six concrete use cases demonstrating how organisations are already leveraging quantum innovations to tackle complex challenges. Featured use cases included:
- Quantum‑enhanced staff rostering and digital marketing with Air France‑KLM;
- Underground cable detection with Alliander;
- Radiotherapy treatment planning with UMC Utrecht and Elekta;
- Methane monitoring for climate objectives with S[&]T;
- Plasma modelling with ASML;
- Genomic selection and automated livestock monitoring with Wageningen Livestock Research.
The message was clear: quantum technologies are evolving into practical tools capable of reshaping industries. The future is being built, collaborative, interdisciplinary, and full of opportunity.
We look forward to welcoming you to the next edition on 10 November and continuing the conversation on how quantum applications can drive meaningful economic and societal impact. More details will follow shortly on our website. Should you have questions in the meantime, please e-mail us.
